W. Reed Norwood, AuD, Founder

Reed is a native of New Mexico where he attended New Mexico State University and graduated from Eastern New Mexico University. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1979 with a Masters Degree in Audiology. Reed completed his Doctorate in Audiology from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry School of Audiology in 2002.

Reed started what is now Audiology Management Services, Inc. in 1981. He holds Tennessee State Licensure in Audiology, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds membership in the Tennessee Academy of Audiology, and is a member of the National Hearing Conservation Association, American Auditory Society, the Audiological Resources Association and is a past member of the Tennessee State Licensing Board of Communication Disorders & Sciences. Dr. Norwood is Past President of the Tennessee Academy of Audiology.

Locally, Reed is a member of the Cookeville Rotary Club, First United Methodist Church, and Putnam County Family YMCA, of which he is also a past president. Reed is also a graduate of Leadership Putnam.
